A marathon, a sherpa, a gun, a hit-n-run, TACO the dead dog and off to Boston we go!

October 10th, 2010

What a day, what a race, what a way to end the season!

3:40:31 and 1st in my age group!

The late TACO, my race inspiration.

The finish line.

Here are the rest of the photos.

Thanks to Adam for all the support you ALWAYS give me, to Erika for being there all the way to the finish line, to Welle for helping me turn the wheels over yet again, to all my friends, team mates and family who have cheered me on ALL season long.

Couldn’t do it without all the love!

Who the hell is Taco? I watched the video. It was not helpful. 🙂

Well, Whit…we really didn’t know Taco. He was the dead dog of the woman’s home we rented up in Bayfield. There were photos of him everywhere and then we realized there was this, this, this memory crystal of him. We pluged him in, he spun and we knew right then and there that TACO was really a special dog.

Jen asked later if we “found his ashes.” We didn’t, but had we been there one more night, maybe.

    That is TACO.
